At the Concord General Services Facility, Allen Simpson (left) and Bruce Webster install idling reduction equipment in a city vehicle. On December 28, 2010, Concord city officials announced and celebrated the installation of idling reduction equipment on eight city vehicles. The use of the equipment will save fuel and reduce emissions. After the announcement, a demonstration of the equipment and an actual installation took place.
